The show starts at 7:30pm both nights. All tickets are $10. STPA is owned by Brent and Cindy Adkins, long-time truck and tractor pullers. The Adkins met over 25 years ago at a tractor pull, and they have been pulling together ever since. Both ran four-wheel drive modified trucks for years – The Warrior, Uncle Big Bad and the much-loved yellow mini-van, Mom’s Grocery Getter. Currently, Brent rides the wild “Sly, Slick & Wicked” turbine-powered modified tractor. Cindy’s “Green-Eyed Lady” 4x4 will take on new life this year with a move to the diesel truck class. Cindy returned to competition last year after a battle with breast cancer – that she is winning! STPA was born in 2004 in an effort to create a more level playing field for pullers in the Southeast. They offer some of the more popular classes, such as Two Wheel Drive Modified Trucks, Super Stock Tractors, Super Farm Tractors, and Modified Tractors. STPA has also gone back to the grassroots of pulling by offering classes for Single-Engine Modified Tractors and Hot Farm Tractors. These are great starter classes for those wanting to get in to pulling. Last year, STPA added the Modified 4x4 Diesel Truck class – the hottest new class in pulling!!! Especially for The Cleveland County Fair, STPA will be bringing Hot Farm Tractors, Super Farm Tractors, LTD Pro Stock Tractors, Heavy Super Stock (ALC & DSL), and 2WD Blown Trucks.
